Yeah, we may have different proportions :D

The SG can be unbalanced and I've certainly played a few that were but far from all are. What the SG has the to me kills the LP is the amazing upper fret access, low weight and thin body with beveled edges that makes it super comfortable all around. Plus of course, its mean looks.

.....just noticed there seems to be some damage to the neck, may be mentioned in the listing but not a language I am familiar with.

I don't like the 2 grand price tag, for a standard.

ibanez 2405 76ish (the "bug" headstock inlay)
Not a solid top (arched birch)
PU's most likely have been changed (logo super 70s are most likely the correct ones)
Big Ibby fan here (though never owned this model)

I like Hagstroms, I even owned one. A Swede would not be my first choice though. I'd probably go with a Fantomen.

They have gold tops. If you like gold tops, then a Gold Top is the way to go.

Bought a Les Paul Tribute in Satin Gold finish around Xmas time.

    Gone within 3 months.

Didn't really like the neck, the body shape or even the look (Les Pauls in general).

Grossly overpriced. In my humble opinion.

Hey, Cerb, I'm with you. They don't sit in the lap well, they tend to be heavy, they're not comfortable against the torso, and too many of them are just too gaudy. Besides, single coils are where it's at. The only ones I kind of like are the Specials and the Juniors. The gold tops with P90s or mini hum buckers sure look great, though.
