Yeah, that's pretty much it. I have discovered that I like humbuckers lately. The SG sounds great, the Ibanez above sounds great and the Epiphone Firebird 1 sounds great...
That's why I bought it. I have a Trad as well with 57 Classics. That's a pretty one too . Ya wanna see it ? Of course you do
I feel wrong sometimes for feeling the same way. I love my ltd ec401v despite all the design "flaws". So, that's les paul and paul, holding Paul's les paul? I see whatcha did there... I hear ya. Yet, with all those issues, most of us seem to have one around. I love the way my hand and forearm sit in relation to the bridge and strings, heightwise. Super comfortable. I wanna hate, but I cant.
i'v got the same urge. My first electric was a cheap 70s Japanese Les Paul, not very nice, but I loved it. I regret selling it before I emigrated. It was a white one, and left handed white Gibsons or Epiphones are like chicken's teeth this is on Reverb, and i'm tempted - price feels a little salty and hard to swallow though. https://reverb.com/item/33594987-ibanez-2350l-single-cut-copy-lefty-white-creme
things a paul or other humbucker equipped guitars do that a traditionally equipped tele or strat just won't do. Best to have both.
I feel the same way. Owned two since June of 2018 (2018 Traditional, 2019 60’s Standard) and sold or returned each one within 6 months.
Me too. You were supposed to read the title in conjunction with the first post [emoji14] "I don't like Les Paul..." "...type guitars"
I bought a Les Paul Special a few months ago to see what all the fuss was about. Sold it last week to buy a new Strat.
Les Pauls Matter!!!! To each there own,,,you guys get a hold of me and ill give those evil Gibsons a place in this world Its like golf,,,ya cant play with one club A Strat will never sound like a Les Paul and vise versa
