    I had a dog that use to eat those, loved them.
    Dogs gone now, the hornets keep my tomatoes safe.

    Oh and dog didn't die from the bugs, girlfriend ran off with him... no lie.

    They then turn into a hummingbird moth!

    When I was a kid living on a farm we raised tobacco. We couldn't keep them off the tobacco leaves. We sprayed but they kept coming back. I used to turn them inside out on a stick and chase the girls with them.

    Tomatoes and tobacco are both members of the nightshade family, so it's not surprising that those fat caterpillars will pillage both!
