That ply body looks just like the MIK Squier II Strat I had.

Almost wish I didn't sell that one...

All that needs is a shortened tremolo arm!

I guess that's one explanation why there aren't a lot of Australian rap stars over here.

A guitar with a flower in it? I sense a long-time relationship between it's former owner and itself there. Why would he dump it? Or if he passed away, why would his family dump it if it meant something to him? And if he didn't have family, why would anyone dump it instead of selling it?

    Major mojo there...

I have an 89 korean squire, and the tuners and saddles look right on your find, but the headstock shape is off, for any fender. Also at least on mine the korean ones came with different pickups, not a traditional alnico pole pickup, but not the ****ty ceramic ones either, they have metal bottom plates, they don't come apart, and they surprisingly sound damn decent.

Congrats on the great find. Antique chair, then a "Strat style" guitar, keep an eye on that treasure trove dumpster.

The rounded edge of the body seems too sharp for a squier and makes the pick guard sit too far in from the edge, more like a copy of a strat, but no reason why you can't turn it into a decent player, nice find! :)

Several details don't look like a Fender or Squier to me. The neck looks like an aftermarket, and maybe the ply body is a Stinger? The color is attractive, and unusual for a budget clone btw.

Looks like a former owner spent a lot of time on that fretboard.

Mate you should hear the Hilltops Hoods. Greatest rap band in the world.
Anyway that wasn't meant to be a rap, it was more of a third-rate Weird Al (to the tune of Heard It Through the Grapevine).

Back to the Hoods ... have you heard this one? Damn it's a great song. I feel like Bobby Fischer, always four moves a head-ah!

I came here to make this joke, but as usual someone quicker and funnier than me has already done it...

Make sure you scrub the finger goo off of that rosewood with something that will kill germs. I'd hate for you to poke your finger on a sharp fret end and wind up with hep c:D.
    Kidding, sweet color, nice score.
