    Well they can always call in sick. I would if I worked there. While certainly this is a$$hattish policy it hardly qualifies as forced labor in my view.

    Good thing I got my new LP when i did. I ordered in the beginning of Sept, didnt get it until the day after Chritmas. Stuff is going to be funny for awhile

    My understanding is the PRS factory is still open. Did Fender close? I’m still working from the office even though we have the option from working at home but I can’t get buy with just my little laptop screen and it’s keyboard. I need my three monitor setup, full keyboard and mouse.

    As I asked over on the Squier board, are they really being "forced " to go to work? It would be interesting to hear from the workers whether they'd like to continue working for a while and getting paychecks, or stay home now and not get them.

    It's my understanding that all non-essential businesses have been ordered to close by Gov. Bill Lee and Gibson is now closed.

    They had to stay open long enough to make all those guitars they promised Nashville musicians after the tornado ;) They aren't entirely evil ya know

    And there's an update to the story, they will not be open Monday.
