I hate hurricanes

Terrible, but "could have been worse". At least they didn't loose the structure. Most of that is fairly easy to fix on the hurricane-fix-scale.

Yeah and they were all ok. Neither of my sisters have power still. My parents have had it back since the night of the storm thank God.

Ventured out today in Central FL since they stopped telling us to stay home. Not too bad for structure damage, but there's some massive flooding of streams and plains. I'll try to get some photos tomorrow. Quite a few roads closed or passable only in a high vehicle.

I have a few friends who are in the vicinity of Hurricane Ian, and I hope that they are getting out as fast as they can.

One of those is Harmless Dave, who lives in the Ft. Myers,Tampa area. He's been posting about Hurricane Ian for days:
