Of all the strat models available now.

It used to be MIA or MIM.

Now it seems there are a bunch of models I never heard of.

True. I'm glad I don't need any new ones.

Same over on the Gibson side. An endless proliferation of "new" and "reissue" models. I can't keep track anymore.

I remember when the AVRI’s and then the American Standard were the only sub models of the Stratocaster!

It was originally MIA Strat and that was it. If you wanted another model, it was a Tele, a Jag, or a Jazzmaster.

Yeah, it's about like trying to buy a cup of black coffee at Starbucks.

I have two and have zero desire to get more. It would be as bad as dating again.

I have 7 American Strats and I don’t even know which ones they are. Almost seems pointless to name them as I buy them for how they play not what they’re called.

    Starbucks has fewer choices.

90% of my time is spent on one guitar. I went through a few before I found one that fit me best. However the concept of selling a guitar I have yet to comprehend.

And what’s with the wacko names? Names like “Standard,” “Professional” “Deluxe,” “Special,” etc. were at least relatable and sounded like something you could get behind...

but “Vintera?” “Noventa?”.....PLEASE!!!! Just make it stop

Fender must have hired one of those "big pharma name monkeys" to come work for them.
