I just bought this on eBay for $200 AUD. I'm pretty sure it's a Vintage Modified.
Looks good. Can’t see the pickup covers, if they say Duncan Designed, that’s definitely a Vintage modified one. I love the headstock on these, picked up a black HSS recently with a really nice dark rosewood fretboard. Congrats
Sweet! Happy New Guitar Day!
Duncan design is still stock on some sq’s
Depends on Whitch squire and model
Just check with fender on this
Because you can't just BUY pickup covers.
Nice! How does she sound?
I'm pretty sure it's a VM. It has the Duncan Designed pickups. It's a 2013 model from the SN.
It plays pretty bad. It needs a major set up.
Who the hell goes out of their way to fake Duncan DESIGNED pickup covers? Think before you speak, man…
It has some fret sprout on the 6th fret. I'm going to try to fix it. The bridge height is a mess too. The poor baby has been a bit neglected.
I wish The Block would do a series where they renovated guitars.
"Pimp my Squier"?
Happy New Guitar Day!!
If they're kosher SD pickups that's a score!
Take the pickguard off and have a look. Report back on any labels or stampings.
If not, oh well. AUS$200 is about US$140, which I guess isn't bad at all.
BTW we Brits would just like to say "up periscope!" to our antipodean cousins
These can be nice Strats when setup
I have had the pickguard out of it. It has the Duncan Designed stickers on the pickups.
