I have had one of the longest period without buying new gear, and that means that I went a whole week without buying a new guitar. Then I got an offer from a Reverb seller for this…

At $315.00 shipped, I couldn’t pass it up. I know, me and my bargain basement guitars lol.

I love the sculpted, almost not there, neck heel and the belly cut. I wish the tuners were better, but for $315.00 I can’t gripe too much.

Wow. One of my best friends still has a Cardinal Series Aria Pro II he bought new in the mid '80s. I've rocked it many a time. Those are great guitars. Pickups should sound good too. I wouldn't have been able to pass it up at that price either. Congrats!

That might have been made at Yeou Chern/World Sound Music, who makes my guitars and guitars for Harley Benton, Dean, Aria*, and others.

How does it feel? The body has some interesting cuts on the back. Is it comfy? Looks good though. That is a hard pass. HNGD!

I know that is kinda Les Paulish, but I like to have have an extra one to play at a gig in case my primary guitar had a problem.
This one isn’’t a Gibson, but is very close, style wise. I have this on the way, and a 2022 Les Paul Tribute (Gibson), and an Ibanez Artist. So there it is, for better or worse.

Can Aria Pro 2 players be friends with Les Paul players?

I sure hope so ha ha!

I was looking at a blue burst Aria Pro II MAC-STD for $349.00. But the PE was offered well below that. It is a nicer guitar in a lot of more features.. we need to make a thread doing Reviews on guitars in the $299 to $500.00 price range. I will have almost enough guitars to do reviews of a few different guitars.
