Ahh, you never know. Lots of schizz, good and bad, happens to us when we least expect it.
Do you go to medical forums for guitar advice? Let alone trust your health to *any* forum.
You won't die alone, you'll be surrounded by your musical friends wondering why you didn't ask a doctor about your health.
I'm not a hardcore musician, but don't have a wife and kids. I had a vasectomy a couple years ago and was the best decision I ever made. Single, career (I work in healthcare) I enjoy, disposable income, finally paid off my student loans last year and no debt. The no wife and kids thing is WELL worth it!
Well aren't you special. I'm laughing right now. At you. LOL
Jeebus that is hot. Get the fans going.
You just have to be very choosey, read labels carefully, and often be prepared to cook it yourself.
I do all of this.
No it ain't , for sure. People see the front of the stage, not the backstage.
As for touring and such:
Some years ago I met a buddy that I had not seen in years, as he had been on the road with bands while I was either living in New Orleans or Norcal, and I was bemoaning the musical experiences I missed by mostly not touring and working in one city.
He asked me if I had a long term family relationship and owned a home.
I said "yes" to both, as I own a small house and have been married to the same person since 1980.
He told me I was ahead of the game as that's what most of the guys he knew on the road want...and do not have.
I felt a lot better about missing out.
I have a wife but we are happily childless by mutual choice. I get it.
I respect parents - I was too selfish to be a good one.
I get all my medical advice from this forum.
I don't like going to doctors.
And you are are among friends which is why we post stuff like this. To get feedback from your friends. Unfortunately, any dumbass with a pair of thumbs can respond to it. Even the ones that aren't your friend. LOL
But it's a dry heat..... That's what everyone out there always tells me
Another issue is that what makes one person's system work well does not necessarily do so for others. Part of being healthy is figuring out what makes your body do well.
Generally the body is quite good at telling you if you listen to it
Normal blood sugar is 70 to 120. I know this. I am diabetic.
I took my Blood Sugar Sex Magik but I don't want to Give It Away.
It's like Palm Springs...sort of. LOL
I know its a gigantic pain in the poserior even when "mild and well managed" so best avoid it if at all possible.
I come from a family of rabid diabetics on both sides yet of my generation only myself (oldest of seven) and my sister (youngest) are not afflicted with the condition. I remain the "eat/drink what I want when I want to" guy and (all my bloods done a month ago) I'm all good. My sister and I won the genetic lottery in our family to be sure. BTW, body mass (for the uneducated) has little to do with the condition as I am 6'3" and 170lb. but my sister is 5'6" and easily 200+...I dare not ask!
There's a country song in that for sure .
