I recently built an amp and would like to build another one.

What amp / speaker combination provides these sounds?

I'd say any Fender or Fender type amp with enough headroom to stay clean at the sound level you want. A Twin Reverb would do it a concert volume, and a Princeton Reverb or a Deluxe would do it fine for home use. Or skip the reverb feature if you don't want it. I don't hear any in that video. You'd want something after the tweed era because the amp in the video has a "mid scooped" sound with accentuated bass and treble.

i agree with the above. I would build a Deluxe Reverb if I wanted those tones.

What amp did you already build?

Of course keep us posted as you build your next one.

I built one of these, however, I swapped out the PT for one that would work in the US. I also used a larger turret board and chassis so things aren't quite so compact.

I am currently using it with the speaker that came with my GTX100 which sounds much more Fendery than the speaker from the dead Line 6 Spider someone gave me. I have a WGS G12Q on the way to try out as well.

I have enough parts to build another Madamp and I am thinking I would like to add Reverb Circuit if I can figure out where to tie it in [totally not an EE].

I would like to try building something a bit more challenging like a Deluxe Reverb.

My first ever amp build was a matchless spitfire clone and it sounded great. Tons of headroom bit when it broke up it was sweeeeet. That was about 20 years ago. Man, I need to dig my electronics out again.
