Some time ago I had a friend who owned a glass shop. I managed to talk him out of some Lexan and I began to design amplifiers

I named it the Righteous Amp since it has a monk in the front corner. This amp uses a 50 Watt module a (LSI) and a Baxandall tone circuit of my own design. I first discovered the Baxandall tone design in a Altec Lansing high end stereo. It was a single transistor tone network, bass and treb. I added a mid-range control to the general design. This amp has Bass, Mid, and Treb +15db and -15db range. It is quite loud but only works on AC.
I have made other amplifiers in the last few years that push as much as 200 Watts @12VDC. I can post some of those later on in case someone wants to build one.. They are easy to build and use pure digital amplifier modules that you can get for around $30. I also made multiple digital units that run fro 5 watts upwards.
Here are some Righteous Amp pictures.
I have no idea why I got double's but I can't delete them

Ampeg once made a plexiglass bass. The problem with it was that two guys had to hold it while a third guy played it since it was so heavy.
