There is an Artcore for trade on market place that seems really nice. He wants to make a trade and I am considering offering one. I just don't know anything about them, what they are worth if I decide it isn't for me and so on.
I know I've seen some comments about them here and there so I figured I would throw a line out to see.
I am currently waiting to see which model it is. If I do end up going through with it this will be my first semi hollow body style electric.
Here is a pic of the one I am talking about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They’re great. Have owned 3, still own two. Way better than the Epiphones I’ve owned/still own.

    Great value for the money.

I never played one, but that looks pretty damn cool.

    They're good guitars.

Coincidentally, I was changing the strings on my TM-71 model last night (string ends haven't been clipped yet in the photo). As you might notice, the pickups aren't stock. They're Guitar Madness P94s. The stock ones aren't bad but swapping out the pickups is pretty easy on mine so I've done that a few times.

I just played 2 of them in a mom/pop store. One was 299.00 (AS53) and the other was 399.00.
I have to say that at those price points, these feel really nice in your hands. They play easily and sound good acoustically, I didn't plug one in, because I was there to drop off my amp for servicing.
You should check out Firefly as well, ... great reviews and insanely low prices.

They are well made and worth their money. Ibanez has been making fine guitars for a long time now.

I've owned a bunch of these and only had an issue with one. It was a gorgeous white one with gold hardware and the Bigsby type bridge. I could not for the life of me keep that thing in tune. I will say I prefer the thinner body ones.

I have the same model exactly, and I agree, the bigsby is the source of the issue for me, if I wiggle the bar at all, it's out of tune. But seems like if I keep it still, it holds well enough for me. Definitely a great looking guitar, and I don't plan on ever selling it. I've also got the orange model with the stoptail.

Bigsbys only seen to work on Gretch guitars from what I have heard.

I'm pretty sure that's what it came with, stock. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but it's definitely a pain to keep tuned (if using the bar). It sounds incredible though, and it looks like a million bucks. For some reason, it's the only vibrato unit of any type that I simply haven't been able to make stable.

Interesting. I'm looking at an ABM2400 for my Gretsch 5622. The Gretsch-Talk guys rave about it, but I'm curious how well rollers actually work for tuning issues and what affect it might have on sound.

They do a 12 String for $500, I’ve been very tempted!
They seem to be very good value at this price point.

Well, I reached out to ask him which model it is for sure. Now I'm just waiting to hear back.

I'm pretty confident you'll like it. Every one I've owned (basically all AF75 models) have been very well made, and sound great.

I've had two Artcores. I traded away an AS73 and then regretted it. Now I have an AM93 I like even better than the AS73, and it's not going anywhere (the stock Super 58 pickups are excellent).

I have an as153. I don’t know if that’s an artcore or artstar, but it’s great. If it said Gibson on it it would be $3K+
