As others have already noted, a great value. You get more guitar for the $$$ than others in the same price range.

I didn't jive with my AF75, but that was 7 years ago -- it was orange and retro-fitted with a Bigsby, but I couldn't manage the full hollow body.

Last year, I picked up an AS73 semi-hollow. The combo of the solid center block and my own playing progress has made it a keeper.

The one you pictured looks like it has a smaller upper bout than the AF75. It could be an AG75. Those run $399 brand new.

I've got the same orange one, no bigsby. It's great. I'm used to gigging with acoustics, and I'm a large guy, so the size of it was never a bother to me.

nothing is as comfortable as a strat though, of course.

Only possible downside with those full hollows is feedback with high volume/high gain. Was never an issue for me, but encountered a little bit of it when my buddy was gigging it with me, and he turned on the overdrive. But it's a problem with most every full hollow

It's an Artstar, and it's a fantastic guitar. Nice.

I've played a few low end Ibanez semis and hollows at my local GC and wasn't that impressed. IMO the stock pickups on the 70 series guitars are unacceptable. However the high-end Ibanez guitars are pro quality and up there with Guild, Gibson, and Heritage. Run you half the price too.

Odd... my candy apple red AF75 has the gold hardware and Bigsby and it stays in tune for days. Maybe a lemon? 20190321_211956.jpg

I had the AS73-12. A twin to @Nadnitram 's. I was amazing. Sold it to a fellow who had the 6 string. He was very appreciative.

Well, I will be meeting the guy in about an hour to check it out. He thinks it is an AG75 model so I believe it is the full hollow body.

D557B2C0-4985-475E-AAE4-95172C1DDEC2.jpeg Ok The Artcore line is such an attractive looking set of guitars. Like everyone is saying they can’t be beat at that price point

I bought mine used for 200$ and upgrading darn near everything. The stock vol / tone pots are typical inexpensive variety and I wasn’t crazy about the stock pickups. They weren’t bad but not great either. I installed a tune O matic bridge and tailpiece, bournes pots, Seth lovers and gotoh tuners. Plays like a dream now

I don't know if I will be able to do a tune-o-matic without doing some serious work since the one I am looking at is the full hollow body version. I am getting excited to try it out though from all of the comments here and what I have seen on the yootoob about them so far.

The first (and best) one I ever had was an AF75 just like this. I got it for $75 so of course I sold it. All the others I had were attempts to replace it but I never could even as good as they were.

They're really nice! I'd pick one over a dot or epi 335 any day

I have a couple of Artstar models and they are both great. AS73 and AS153, ridiculously good for the money

I love that blue. I did end up getting it and it is the AG 75-BS-12-01. It does have a really nice playing neck and the action on it is perfect. I gotta say that even though I don't care for burst finishes this one is nice because it's isn't the normal style how it fades in and out all over.

I have an '08 AS 73 made in China. Great guitar. Bought it last year from GC (used) for $270. Hate to say it, but I play it much more than my strat.

Play yours before you trade b/c resale value isn't very good.
