    Rubbish! Any of the owners would be encouraging anyone to play guitar. Not sure sure how it’s disrespectful to play an instrument to the best of your ability, treating it with the same respect you’d treat any other guitar.

    A little hasrsh, however we are all due out own opinions and apparently you missed my point.
    First - I never said it was disrespectfull. These are my musical heros.
    Two - IMHO it would be unfair to the guitar and the legacy these musical hereos ledt behind for me personally to plunk away.
    Three - I of course would treat it with the respect it deserves and more. I treat my guutars well.
    You wouldnt take the Mona Lisa home and hang it in the kitchen.

    So lets agreee to disagree.

    @Jimi Lightning
    I agree with the idea you mentioned about their favorite Strats ; Cause I would have loved to have been born early enough to try for chance to be friend of Stevie and Rory & learn even 1 awesom solo lick from both.

    You are here
    SRV or Gilmour's Black Strat. Probably Gilmour because I get the feeling it'd be cleaner. :thumb::D

    Because it's a fun game to play, Grump'ny! I think it'd be pretty cool to have Rory or Nile's Strats in my hands. It's just something I was daydreaming about, that's all.

    My full apologies, perhaps I was a tad heavy. I still don’t see it as possible to be unfair tona guitar, nor that any one but you woukd in some way wrong to plunk away on it! There was a stage in everyone’s life when they were capable only of plunking away! Again, sorry for the tone, never intended anything other than to convince you that you’re as worthy as anyone to play any guitar

    Daydreaming is fine, because we don't have the same ones doesn't mean I'm grumpy, or that my expectations that the set up of somebody else's guitar wouldn't suit me are wrong.
