Someone gets to come up with these names like Fat 50s, Classic ‘57s, Texas Specials, Twisted Tele, etc. What would be a cool name for pickups, either your own pickups or just a set of pickups in general?

So you'd have Manny, Moe, Jack and Output Jack?

The output jack is already named. ;)

Truth is when I made and sold pickups they had names.

My Tele pickups were Oildales. It's a town by Bakersfield.

My 50's Strat pickups were called Lubbocks. For Buddy Holly.

My 60's pickups were Rincons. Because surf.

Being a set of 69’s, I’d simply call them “classic rock” pick ups. If your mind is in the gutter well, you know….

How about “69 Position” pickups. And they could highlight the fact that the middle pickup is reverse wound reverse polarity.
