They're magnetic coil transducers which I guess is why we call 'em pickups.
For a Strat?
Each one is fine on its own. Can work in 2 combinations of two. And even 3 combinations of 2 or all 3 at the same time with a little modification.
Magnetic Coil Transducers eh? Well, if we shorten that to MCT's, (people love these abbreviations these days) then add something cool like 'Soulman', we could call 'em 'Soulman MCT's'. You know those guys.. Man, I just gotta get me some Soulman MCT's to push more depth into my sound... '
