Boss Metal Zone.
Coupled with an Analouge delay it was metal heaven....
Single pedal won't work for me. Still using my GP8 and every patch has at least 4 pedal settings for various tones.
Single tone is fine if you like but most gigging guitarists require more than one sound.
But this is just a hypothetical question so it's actually moot. YMMV.
very simple question
Stereo Memory Man!!
The more I use mine the more I like it............although I must say I have also been using a Memory Toy as well.........best hundred bucks I ever spent..............I tried about six other delays under $150 (the usual suspects) and I kept coming back to the Memory Toy..............nice organic analog delay that just sounds "right".
With a strat, a slightly nodded TS9 clone, with an LP or SG a rangemaster clone (with OC44) & with Jackson Soloist a carbon copy bright. TS9 & Rangmaster clones are homebuilt. Cheers

My KWM Klone...I haven't found a guitar that it doesn't play well with on my through my Marshall.
Depends on the type of music more... I can't decide between the glassy-boost I get from the Tubescreamer, the creamy overdrive from the Klon or the nice sound of a gritty cleaned up Fuzzface... I like how they pair with my strat, but my Les Paul needs only the Klon
I guess it would be a Morley ABY that I use to select between an amp for comping and one used when i want a bit of an edge.
Besides an old wah that never gets used, and a midi controller that technically isn't between guitar and amp, but rather just controls a preamp, I don't have any other pedals.
I don't put a tuner inline either, opting instead to just be old school about it all and use the tuner manually if I've a need.
I just scored a Maxon VOP-9. Sounds amazing with my MIA strat with fat 50's. Creamy fat sustain, yet no fizz , and lots of dynamics. I can't wait to test it with humbuckers.
Some type of overdrive, depending on the amp.
Really loving the TC Electronics MOJOMOJO. Really nuanced analog sound comes darned close to Fender tube sound, IMO. Everything from cleanish-jazz to hardish-rock, but very good at blues.
Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret
In front of my Marshall Haze 40 I would go with the Friedman BE-OD.
In front of my Marshal 3315 4x12 I would have to go with an EQ pedal to help boost and EQ the killer overdrive the amp has.
