Black, but with yellow pickup covers. Dark rosewood or ebony fretboard.

Is Graffiti Yellow a real classic color they offered in the 50´s and 60´s ?

You mean like my dads 59 , its a 59 with a 62neck he re sprayed himself black scratch plate, covers and knobs all done in two pack car paint done in 69 with a 65 decal re done by fender dealer ship way back in the 60s . It sounds and plays killer. :thumb:

Yes, just like that. I would have gone for black knobs if it was me, but yes. That's about as good looking as a yellow Strat can be.

It never would have crossed my mind that's a pre-CBS, that's just a great looking Strat, modern looking as it can be.

Yeah shes a beauty in the flesh ,the contours are so comfy its like wearing an old pair of jeans and the sound through my 100 watt Marshall is insanely good best strat tone ive ever heard very srv / Gallagher in sound, it actually spoils all other strats ive ever played a bit though is the only down side , nothing comes remotely close.

I would either strip it or relic the crap out of it...

But, if forced to choose... I suppose I'd go Black as well... and then smash the guitar at the end of playing an 80's Hair Band song...

I didn’t wanna post the body, because everyone will point out the obvious.... but, here it is:

I’m gonna route it out and put two humbuckers in it. Probably the zebra set with black and cream bobbins

Okay, so it at least has that relic thing going for it... perhaps there’s some hope for it after all.

In this case a darker, beat up pickguard might work...

I get the contrast but I think black soaks up the brightness

Here a white guard brings out the yellow in a vintage white body

Graffiti would be that much more yellow
