I'd go with one of Ceriatone's Dumble clones; they're releasing and OTS Reverb soon, which should be a thing of beauty.

I’d take the 10k and pay down some debt and buy a 5e3 kit and do a build.

    That’s on my bucket list

    Does that count?

I'm sure they're out there but I couldn't name one. Shoot, my last 5 amps have been British named but made in Asia somewhere, American named but Asian made, or German. I've kept the German and British

The American was a Peavey. It really wasn't a bad amp, it just didn't want to sound right with my Blackstar

I'm waiting for a 4x12 to put under my JTM45 and I also have a Deluxe Reverb. I'm done. If I've had many money I'll buy a lot of other amps like an Hiwatt, an Orange, a Hughes&Kettner, a Bassman. Maybe I'll build the Bassman by myself with extra-luxury useless electronic parts just for the taste to do it, to be honest. Anyway nothing specific.

I like nice stuff, I like we'll-made things, and yeah, I like US made amps... But what on earth justifies that price?

I kind of want a Fender Supersonic, but that's not out of reach, I'm just not a good enough player yet to warrant buying another amp.

I also kind of want a Marshall JTM45 with a 2x12 cab. Again not an impossible task, but same blocker as the Supersonic.

Me and a $10K amp go together like a fish and a bicycle (or me and a necktie).

Now if the amp came attached to the deck of a secluded beach house for a few weeks ....

This is a legitimately tough question.

I cannot think of an answer.

Hell I’d find a deal on a Dumble! And hope to flip it in a few years for $15k to a cork sniffer! But if you were talking $10k for a few amps I’d be all about a Bogner XTC and Diezel stack

I owned a Carr Rambler for about a week. Back then it was $2000.00 (+/-) Shoot me if you must but it just wasn't "all that" for me! I took it back and bought my 1970 Super Reverb :thumb:

But to the point I think a Bogner Ecstacy would be nice (VERY NICE) and a nice 4x10 cab to go with it! Let's call that my "dream amp" for now...LOL!

Realistically, tomorrow my Bogner Barcelona is due to arrive! I'm hoping I'll be VERY happy!

    Having 10K though, I could have both, couldn't I? :p

Can you actually spend 10K on an amp? I bought my kilobuck drop-dead dream amp and didn’t come close to that.

I think the only amp I'd like is to get a 5F1. Between my AB763 DR Clone and my 5E3, I'm good. I'd just like the Champ to get a little more break up at normal home volumes.

    Easily.

Look at the prices of a real '68 Plexi , add some vintage '60s Mullard tubes, a couple 4x12 cabs with Celestrons

I'd find a nice 5E6A and get it tuned up.

How a 5e3 kit and a detached garage to build & play it in?
