I'm baffled!

I hope I can explain this properly...
I'm rewiring a HSH
I wanted auto split and noise cancelling on switch positions 2 and 4
Both humbuckers are the 4 wire plus screen types.
I've wired the guitar and positions 2,3,4 and 5 are working as they should.
Position 1 ( bridge humbucker) is working but at significantly reduced volume.
There is continuity from the black wire (north start) on the switch to the switch output, to the volume pot and to the output Jack.
North finish and south start are wired together and south finish and screen are wired together.
The bridge pickup measures correctly on all windings.

I'm using this diagram....
Can anyone make any suggestions please?

With a cord plugged in, switch in Pos 1, what DCr do you get from the tip to ring?

The diagram shows north finish and south finish wired together, and south start wired to ground. The opposite of what you wrote.

It sounds like your bridge humbucker coils may be wired parallel instead of series. Check your wiring.

Stu, the diagram you're working from is fine, but the colour-coding varies from one pickup manufacturer to another. I suspect Ebidis is on the right track. The same web site you got the wiring diagram from also shows the colour-coding schemes used by all the major manufacturers. What you've probably done is shunted one of the bridge pickup coils to Earth (Ground).

You guys who chipped in are awesome!
I've just got round to investigating and the problem was exactly as you suggested.
Some **** had got the colours mixed up.
In mitigation both humbuckers have different configurations and The **** wired them both the same.
It's just a case of screwing everything back together again and tidying up!
