Nice! Inspires me to see if I can come up with a tight rhythm part. Thanks Monte!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Nice and laid-back. Thanks, Monte. (Wait! did I hear sirens...and some sort of vocalizations? ...starting at about 1:23)

OK. One Tele, two takes , no edits or trickery.

i took as the challenge to play something in earnest and not as an exercise. usually do, but this time i mean, really to the intended audience - you know keep the motive and whatnot in the forefront and dispense with hoping anyone likes it. not that anyone needed or wanted to know that.

Thanks, Mark. Really appreciated. For years, I've never really got a Fender guitar tone plugged into an audio interface and a DAW that I was totally happy with. I think I've just got a big step closer. @IsaiasO pointed me at ToneLib's GFX amp and effects sim. https://tonelib.net/ At just under $40, it's almost 1/10 of the price of IK's AmpliTube, and about half the price of the JamVOX, which I use a lot BTW. The first preset on the list really does the job! :)

Ditto, with Amplitube 4. My Strat tone just disappears. I've gotten a lot closer to what I'm looking for in ToneLib GFX. I'm still working on my own patches, so I haven't used GFX for anything posted here, yet.

Thanks Monte. My hand slipped when I recorded this and I inadvertantly bumped the effects knob to 11. Oh well..

I'm working on something that will use a track from ToneLib GFX and the rest will be done in Amplitube. Working on it---kind of a groove thing than an actual solo end-to-end.

Well, I'll say this Monte, your track choice seems to have drawn out some superb takes. :thumb::thumb::thumb:
