I have only been on this forum for a few months, in that time I have come to see Ben as one of the sweetest people I have had the honor to know.
Can't understand how he could offend anybody.

Not when they fart. I had a lab/dobie mix that could clear the room, and peel the paint off the walls. She was awesome!:D

And I'm pretty certain that the ancient Egyptians had it down to, "He who made the rhyme, did the crime."

I think we should go by that since those guys were chilling with the Aliens back then.

    Dear @stevierayfan91,

I'm pretty new here, but regardless, you were one of the first to answer me when I needed help. After reading what others had to say, I think this perfectly represents your character. You are a treasure to the world. Keep being you, and I'm sure your friend is having a couple of laughs and jams with good ol SRV himself... Best of luck with everything, and remember that you are never alone. Friends are a great part of who we are, so I cannot even imagine how you feel. I don't know what advice to tell you, but I hope things work out for you... I do know one thing though. I know that your friend will always be a big presence in your life, and it will be like that forever. Keep rocking friend, never forget your second wind.

@stevierayfan91 sometimes time away from media can be a good and healthy thing. Good luck in wherever life leads you, here or anywhere else.

I wouldn’t worry about the thread deletion, what matters is that people care.

sometimes life is just plain illogical, and sometimes nobody really has answers to the hard questions.

    THIS.

The first time I ran "afoul" of the mods was when John Prine was sick and I just reflexively started a thread that said to pray for him. Some miserable dooshnugget shot back..."why, will it help?" Didn't mean anything significant at all. Said more out of custom, when you want to acknowledge there's nothing you really can do. Anyway...Lonn had to change some wording in the post so this girlie man could get the knot out of his panties.

Kinda surprised me cause I'm not in, any sense of the word, religious. But there is always someone who gets their jollies peeing in everyone else's cheerios. Seems like the national pasttime is taking offense. It's so much better than actually doing anything, I guess.

Amen. But I don't think anyone is worried about anything really, with a notable exception, about anything except how all this is affecting Ben, and, if he leaves, how he'll fare without the support he obviously gets from the people here.
