Looks great. I have the 50s, the neck fretboard radius on the 60s is attractive to me though.

Wear sunglasses every time he looks at it? With the added benefit that he'll look super cool!

Like it! I have a very similar looking partscaster with a 60s Classic body. I have new cream colored Pribora pickups on the way from Russia.

I don’t care what anyone says, I think lacquer finishes are especially rich looking.

I was almost going to get the Classic 50s version but got the Road Worn 50s instead. No regrets, but still have one like yours on the back of my mind - although I do wish they had more finish options.

Anyway, I hope you get yours soon, and let us know when you do!

A little Fret Doctor will darken that up nicely. :thumb:

    Gorgeous!

    Love the Classic series.

Nitro makes them a bit more special.

The Classic 50s and Classic 60s both have the same fretboard radius, ie 7.25"

Are you getting confused with the Classic Player 60s?

They do have the same radius but differently shaped necks. Perhaps that's what Ned means?

    Thanks guys!!!

I thought the lacquer version is the way to go, and the first early 60's type I've owned since an (unknown model#) MIJ 60's I got in 1996, which was probably a lower end model, with ceramic pickups and a satin finish neck.

MIGHT put a set of 57/62s in it..but will give the stock pups some time before I decide that..as well as maybe a steel block and Pat Pend. saddles...but I have a set of the 60's Vintage White Pure Vintage plastic that will go on ASAP.

Definitely will use the Fret Doctor..had thought about a RW board version, but it was used..and I wanted nice new frets to wear out myself. :D
