34EB0EF2-A5F1-4ED8-8DDA-93EE29E5ADC9.jpeg image.jpg image.jpg I thought I’d start fresh and just talk a little about me and show you guys my gear. I’m from New England and I’m a senior in high school I aspire to be an electrician, my grandparents are raising me and I’d like to thank my grandfather for sharing his love of classic rock with me, I’ve been playing for 5 years and my idols include Hendrix,Gilmour,SRV, Eric Johnson and Carlos Arévalo. I took lessons with a retired music professor who passed away sadly and I still miss being taught by him to this day. I very badly want to be in a band, I don’t have the time sadly and I also play the saxophone I’ve been playing the saxophone for 10 years and enjoy playing jazz on it.

You got some nice gear! I had that same amp for a while, I kind of want another one to run with my Princeton.

Hey welcome, nice setup you have there. And good luck with your career as a electrician, I’d suggest becoming a commercial electrician I was a tradesman myself.

It’s a 2010 American special strat, my teacher who passed had an original 62 in sunburst with a rosewood neck, I fell in love with that guitar and bought an American professional neck to resemble his guitar. I’m looking to replace the pickups with 57/62s.

I would suggest A LOT more reading about the myriad of pickup choices before making a decision.

Take time to read through the massive amount of info here. As an aspiring electrician I assume you know how to solder? Takes some practice and skill to do a nice job in a guitar. Thin gauge wires are not very forgiving. :)

    Lead free solder sucks!
