Is there a picture forum to share what our studios look like?

Most of the non-music related forums I attend have a sticky thread in a pictures forum for, in the case of motorcycles, pictures of you shop/garage/tools or whatever to kind of show off how tricked out your garage is.

I am curious if that has ever been done here and if not, there may be a reason why. If that is the case, no harm or foul.

Now I won't have a home recording studio, but I do have a nice sized basement where I can designate about a 12 foot by 15 foot section as my guitar zone. Right now it is just three white walls and a white ceiling with beige carpeting. This is very practical and very sterile and would be great for doing tax returns. But I am wondering if folks here have maybe added something to their basement setups to give it a little more mood. Maybe folks have a room where the walls or ceiling are painted a darker color. Maybe you have ceiling lights to simulate stage lighting. Perhaps you have a small stage or riser that you stop onto to help set your mindset. Maybe you have colored LED's or a disco ball or who knows what else.

I figure I'll add at least a couple of framed posters of rock and roll musicians I admire but have no idea what else I can do as I have never thought about this and don't know what others have done. If you still aren't sure what I am after, think about the folks who have the money to have a dedicated home theater in their house. Some have movie theater style seats, curtains on the walls, the ceiling painted a dark color, etc. But in a dedicated HT room they do NOT just have white walls and a sofa. This adds to the ambience of experience.

So if you have something that sounds like this and want to offer some suggestions as to what I can do to rock this space out a little bit chime in or post a picture.

    Thanks.

My studio consists of a guitar, an amp, an audio interface and a laptop. :( At least it's portable(ish).

FWIW, I asked the forum owner and he's not interested in having stickies of Strat-Talk. That is his prerogative, but I thought you should know.

My studio looks as if burglars have been, trashed the place but left me the gear. I'll maybe post a pic when I've tidied up. :whistling:

Thanks for showing what your practice areas look like. I have the same Wheaties box with Ryan Dungey. Classy guy that Minnesota Kid.

I also get the stickies deal. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't recreating a thread that was already started.

I'll add a few accessories to my practice place but here is at least the two new guitars.

Here's my studio. Kind of a mess right now but at least I get to have a designated space.

I'm in the process of figuring out exactly what I want in the area. Right now I've got 3 amps at the front of the room (where I'm standing tote the first pic) and 2 of the guitars are hanging behind the bar. My third guitar sits in a case by the amps.

Here's the man cave that doubles as an office and "guitar HQ" - I wouldn't call it a studio. But this is where I play 'em most of the time and work on 'em when I do that...

Here's the whole thing, with the acoustics as well:
