For the record, among the electrics I currently own are two strats - a 2017/18 stock AmPro SSS: And this 2017 MIM Std HSS (a steal at $399 new): I've been finding that over the past couple of months, the AmPro pretty much sits in its case under my bed while I play the MIM all the time. There's just something about the playability and tones I'm getting from the un-subtle ceramic pickups on the MIM that work much better for me musically. While I enjoy the rolled fingerboard, locking trem bar, and other refinements on the AmPro, I just seem to be bonding more with the MIM, to the point where I'm seriously contemplating unloading the AmPro. Is this a sickness? Is there a cure?
