    Local seller has it listed. I’ve seen the white headstock with gold hardware on the daybreak strats but those are Olympic white. He says it’s 1995 and all original. Anyone familiar with this guitar? He said there’s no serial and he “sanded off” the MIJ labeling because he said it “looked cheap” what ever the hell that means. Thanks so much.

    Pass.
    No serial number and "sanded off" the MIJ?
    No way to validate the authenticity.

    Gold hardware on the headstock but chrome hardware on the body screams "partscaster"

    @Guitarmageddon should know more.

    The neck looks a bit off to me, the transition at the heel looks wrong, nice tuners on the neck though.

    Pickups are staggered so they may be something ok too. Bodyvlooks ok. There's no way of knowing without taking it apart.

    He sanded of the Made in Japan and serial number because it made it look cheap but in doing so made it pretty much worthless lol. I'd pass.

    It is all original in so much that he hasn’t changed it since he got it. Before then, who knows?

    Partscaster.
    I've never seen anything with a white headstock that didn't have the body in the same color.

    I’d pass on his one. Looks like a bunch of parts slapped together. And no serial number is the kiss of death as far as I’m concerned.

    Yeah parts caster , offer him $50 bucks for it no more. Even if any of it was once Japan fender be has ruined any value it had and no strat ive seen had a miss matched headstock and body colour. And the tuners are grover tuners , not klusons .

    Yeah there is no way this is legit, I mean as a complete guitar - would not EVER have been lake placid blue with a white headstock....plus the serial number should be at the back of the neck near the body join, and it's not removed there.....no finish removed.....so I think it's BS..... @Shockmaster

    That's not even a Fender Japan back tremolo cover plate, it's too big - looks like an MIM body and MIJ neck here.....and the tuners aren't original even to the neck, there's no way Fender used vintage style tuners with no split shaft....and they'd never use vintage tuners with hex bushings in the front.....
