It's not going to kill me, but it's annoying.

Since the band that I am recording this weekend will be set up in the living and my computer and monitors and such are in the spare bedroom, I was really thankful that I would be able to use Studio One Remote app. My tablet is large enough that I would be able to be in the living room while they made noise and would be able to see their input and adjust to keep from clipping. Charged up the tablet and.......remote app no longer works because I did not pay money to upgrade to the new version. Dammit. :D

See if microsoft still has something like remote desktop. It was great back in the day for doing work on a remote computer.
Not a bad idea.... But it's old windows and a newish Android tablet.

The damned remote app from Presonus is really spiffy. :D I just paid for Collin to upgrade to the newest version of Artist but I have not.

RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) is still built into Win 7, 10, and 11 Professional versions, but it won't connect to anything that isn't running RDC, so... you're SOL with RDC.

Well, that's weird but helpful. Both my phone and my tablet earlier were not able to use Studio One Remote due to the old version on my comp. Just tried it again and now but of them connected just fine. No clue what's going on here but I'll take it.
