We have a place to store ours but now, with the new house, I won't have to tear it down. We will pull the decorations though because putting them on is a big part of the fun for us. To facilitate not taking it down but storing it we bought a furniture dolly and I mounted the tree to it.Well this year looks like there will be a change. My wife loves Christmas to the point you can occasionally Christmas carols around here in July. The tree, that has stood (literally) the test of time over the years is getting new lights. So while most folks are putting up their trees, we will be undecorating ours. Of course once the lights are replaced it will resume it's year 'round role in the corner of the living room. It's a skinny one so it does not take up a lot of space.
I prefer to leave it up all year, leaves more room in the closet for guitars.
I do like threads such as this to look at others trees. Almost as fun as looking at guitars.
Truthfully I'm not sure, she just saw it and liked it.
