Our 17th wedding anniversary was over the weekend. I got my wife a couple of things and some flowers and card and we went to a nice restaurant.

wife asked me if I wanted a guitar or pedals or anything... thought about it for a minute...

no... there's really nothing I need or want right now LOL. What an oddball feeling....

Fool! You should have said "well, there is a new (fill in the blank) I've been eyeing" so at least you have credit in the bank for when GAS does hit! :D

well to be honest... I do kind of want an Electric Mistress flanger but I just dont feel like I need it all that bad right now and then I put myself in the unfortunate situation of having to deal with getting a bigger pedalboard or booting something off....

then I thought maybe I'll get a Germanium Fuzz... because we could all use one of those...

crap.... you might be right LOL

I’m in the same boat. 11 year anniversary and I was asked the same thing. I mean a 65 reissue jazzmaster but really the gear I have now I’m not really missing out on anything.

Congrats on the 17 year anniversary by the way.

    Thanks...

Good question... I don't know LOL ... we have disagreements just like everyone does but we both share the same views on life and values so I guess that has a large role to play.

Your wife was happy, so your life was happy. Who could have gas in such a moment?

    Congratulations!

You seem to be suffering from "contentment". Enjoy it. A lot of people are in search of it, but sadly never find it.
Congrats on your anniversary as well.

    Congrats!

We're coming up on our 27th Anniversary on Friday. Not that I intended to, but on the way to our weekend destination I will be stopping off to purchase a guitar off of CL--Hope it goes as planned because we are travelling 2 hours out of our way...fingers crossed! Oh, and my wife wasn't too terribly mad at me but if the deal falls through, I may not hear the end of it!
