A clinic in working the fret board creatively. I want that! Great video thank you!
Yep. It's kind of like a lesson plan. And you create the backing which is just bass and drums. But with a specific purpose in mind.
I sussed out #4 today. Probably track it tomorrow.
A late-hitting entry
I haven't used YT since the day it gave me a 72 hrs upload time estimate. Looks like it's back to normal.
Okay, now it's time to check out, what everybody else's been recording.
Kevin, I really love the thoughtful composition. Each section takes the song in a new direction. Nice an studied. I gotta do more of this and stop playing scales. Sweet take!
@fretter I plugged and played with you on your tracks and I was amazed how close we are in style and ability. I hope I am not insulting you, but we seem to work the same way. Nice job on both of these. Very cool.
I still need to find good melodies.
@Chipper Thanks for listening. I like your tone on the western track.
Managed to find some time to do this:
To be sure, I could never pull off a track like this. That's why I didn't even attempt the Dire Straits one. Maybe someday.
Help Help, I put this on Fezz's thread too but I am in Maine and forgot my freaking power chord for my computer. I can't post a jam on Sunday. I've only got two hours left and no access to my daw. Could someone pick up the torch. I may be out of touch for two weeks. Thanks a million.
I can try to upload something to YouTube, but somebody will have to convert it to mp3.
I will put up some backers if everyone would like.
