I am messing around with the new katana , and the AUX imput sends a very acceptable sound to a single speaker , not like the tubes amps , I think is because it goes to some type of equalization , i know that tecknicly , the speakers for guitar is not made for a full range use , but out of curiosity , does anybody run drum machine or backing tracks to a single 12 without any problem ? Or all rests on the volume level ?

Backing tracks are what the aux in is designed for, at practice levels it's fine.

Chances are that Katana has a full range speaker in there since it is a modeling amp. Should work great to put backing tracks in there.

Do here and download a few to your phone, plug it in to the amp, and play till your fingers bleed.

    No it doesn't, it's a guitar speaker.

Those backing tracks are pretty dire too. There are much better available.
