    Summertime in France.

    A great tune, and a lot of fun to play.

    Loved it! That’s my kind of jazz. Your playing was “outside” enough to keep it interesting but you pulled it back in before it got too weird. Well done.

    It is always welcome to hear a jazz guitarist who is not afraid to let his guitar "sound like a guitar". Beautiful reading of this Gershwin classic. Please post more. PS: Loved the double stops at the end.

    Thanks very much guys! Thanks for checking it out and taking the time to comment. Much appreciated.
    I'm not an experienced jazz player. I have been studying with Matt Warnock for three years. It's great fun.

    @Mouse
    Thanks very much. I know what you mean about not overdoing the 'outside' sound. Although it can be addictive.

    Thanks very much!

    Thanks very much! I love that Tele, and I love it's Tele sound. I wouldn't want to roll too much tone off. The double stops near the end were borrowed from Carlos Santana. I will try and post more as I learn new tunes.

    @Boognish
    Thanks very much!

    Really nice! Used to be a "supper club" here that in summer had an outdoor stage, dining and dance-floor. They used to bring in some really nice combos and you'd often here some swinging jazz like that. Kind of warmed the cockles of my heart remembering that. :)
