Are there any Bonamassa fans around here? I just picked up the new Guitar Player mag, and he is on the cover. After reading the interview, I'm interested in picking up an album or two of his. Are there any particular albums you would suggest, or should I just get his new one?

Yeah I love Joe B; he's one of the best there is at the moment. I was lucky enough to catch him live here in the UK last year.

My favourite album is Blues Deluxe - plenty of great Strat sounds on there too.

the more I see of him, the more I love him! I think I'm going to start with Blues Deluxe, and then eventually pick up John Henry.

Check out his "Live At Rockpalast" DVD. He's got a different lineup than he does now...Kenny Kramme(?) on drums and Eric Czar on bass. They were absolutely awesome in this performance! I've watched this DVD probably 20-30 times since I got it early last year and I'm still not tired of it. Matter o' fact, I'm gonna go watch it again!

He's a little over the top for my taste , but he is a nice guy.
I was hanging out with him years ago before a gig in a small club when he was about 17.
I was sitting at the bar with him and he ordered a coke and the bar tender asked him to pay for the drink, he said I'm with the band, the bar tender said which member are you? and he turned the card around that had his picture on it... I thought that was funny.

My old drummer has just played at a Marshall event held at Ronnie Scotts with a local youngster guitarist. They opened the proceedings before Joe and others took the stage. He met Joe and some chaps from Iron Maiden
