I learned to be a pilot too. But only on the computer.

So if the pilot and copilot pass out on a flight, and the Stewardess screams out "does anyone know how to fly a plane?", I really should be a last resort.

But that is hands-down the ugliest Ford GT paint job I've ever seen.

It is a Gulf paint scheme which was used on Some GT-40s in the mid to late sixties

That is faithful to the Gulf Oil livery on some of original Ford GT’s that raced at LeMans. That being said, I agree that it isn’t pretty.

Very cool! If wishes were money, I'd have one (with the Gulf paint) parked next to my '68 Sox and Martin Hemi Cuda.
I'd probably drive my DB5 Aston Martin more (with dinner jacket)...so as to not attract too much attention.

The only GT-40 I saw in the wild was on a two lane road. The lucky driver opened up the taps. Loud, intoxicating, other worldly. And yes, the Gulf colors is what that should wear.
