just got tix to Metallica

Oh, music is mostly okay, Meeting Lars is what I was extending condolences for.

I saw them a few years ago with Gojira and Lamb Of God. I was happier to see LOG to be honest. I LOVE Metallica, but LOG is my favorite. (First time I saw them was opening for Slipknot, and I was hooked instantly)

Anyway, back to the thread... Haha

I got to see Slayer. At that time Killswitch was opening for them. Went for Killswitch, stayed for Slayer. Haha

Oh I plan to enjoy it!!! I like some Metallica, just am not familiar with their catalogue much beyond Nothing Else Matters (which I think is a great song).

Nothing else matters and enter sandman are the only songs of theirs I can listen to. But I hope you have a great time [emoji106]

Congrats on the tix!!

I've seen them toward the end of what I consider their golden age. Anything post And Justice For All... their commercial hit One, is the beginning of the end. The Sandman album, when they got Bob Rock (Schlock) as their producer drained what I liked about them.

Then they got haircuts.

But now they seem to have their old rocking mojo back!!

Seats? On the floor? Maybe for sitting and waiting for the show to start, but once it does I know my derrerier would be up and rocking!!!



Of course being in Paris, you probably won't have illiterates like this guy...


And the second greatest album they had, before Ride the Lightning.
