It was blood moon here two nights ago, really missed an opportunity to take pictures since I didn't have the camera with me.

So silly to think that people would know your ethnicity and what triggers you when you're totally anonymous on this site. It's laughable

I like to keep up on what's going on. I know there's a lot of bad news out there, but for things like this, I just like to keep aware of what's going on. IMO it doesn't hurt to know one vaccine might not be as effective as another.. It might help you seek out a different vaccine. Also, I've heard of some people being double vaccinated.. If someone already got the J&J vaccine, I'd wonder what the effect of getting the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine would be.

It's neat that people came up with a phrase to justify them dogging on people doing the right thing.

Got mine Monday (Pfizer) . I was holding off because my Brother told me 'it's not approved for general use! Only Emergency use! They don't even know the long term effects! I'm not taking that crap!"
Also I get headaches ALOT and I heard horror stories about permanent headaches after the first dose. I had to see a Neurologist about the headaches (I have one now) and I voiced my concerns. He said it was rubbish and to get the Pfizer shot because it has the least side effects.
Friends of mine got the Moderrna one and say they felt like they were punched in the arm. Mine did not hurt at all. That could be from the Norcos I am taking for my leg.
My head and my leg hurt, but not my arm, so I recommend the Pfizer.
I am not listening to my Brother anymore. He used to be really smart. But after living in Atlanta for too long, he insisted the covid was a hoax at first. Then took that quinine crap, now is a devout trumper and now insists that the Earth is flat. Oh, GOD!
I told him that I don't give a **** what he believes and he shouldn't give one either about what I believe and we are brothers and we love eachother and no way is stupid politics coming between us since both sides lie and we will NEVER know the real deal anyway, and I bet we really DON'T WANT TO KNOW! so we agreed to disagree. My best friend is getting that way too.
But by ALL MEANS, GO GET THE SHOT! I RECOMMEND THE PFIZER. My Doctor say it has less side effects and from my experience. HE IS CORRECT. No side effects here.

Great advice and generally not appreciated the way it ought to be.

Yeah, Thom's cool. He just tells it like it is.
It's your problem if you can't handle it. He is a wise man. I don't actually know who I am talking to and won't follow the thread back.

I've had both Pfizers and I find I'm still a bit nervous around people that haven't been vaccinated.

    Let's see.

Post about Covid and vaccines on a guitar board.

    Bring race into it.

Mix in some socio-political fencing/posturing and boom!

Unfortunately, the off switch comes in a pill or a bottle for some. Mine's a Benzo. Still have some from 2016. They are still good. Sometimes I need a chill pill.

That would say that I need to show acceptance and/or complacency to something I initially took offence to.
But, yeah, I see the humor.
