Just ordered the Fralin Blues Special bridge pickup only for my deluxe roadhouse. I got it with hybrid magnetic stagger and with baseplate add-on. I'm pretty excited!

Rocking vintage noiseless right now so I'm thinking the difference will be noticeable.

Absolutely. It takes a 2 - 3 weeks to arrive on average I guess. We shall see.

Like the old joke - "What's the best pickup to put on a banjo?"

    "Ford F-150."

PS: I have a set of Fralin Vintage Hots in one of my Strats and I really like 'em. They're more vintage than hot IMO, not middy or loud. Lindy makes good stuff.

That is funny every single time though.

I have only really heard good things. The noiseless are fine and it is definitely cool to have something so quiet, but at the same time I don't have to have that and I'd rather have some dirty.

How do you get a banjo player off your porch?

    Pay him for the pizza!

    More banjo jokes!

What’s the difference between an onion and a banjo?

Nobody cries when you cut up a banjo!

    ~

A banjo player left his instrument on the back seat of his car. When he got back, someone had smashed the window and thrown two more banjos in there.

    ~

The definition of perfect pitch: tossing a banjo into a garbage bin without hitting the sides.

    ~

Q: What do you call a pretty girl on a banjo player’s arm?

    A: A tattoo.

    ~

Q: What's the difference between a banjo and a trampoline?

A: You take your shoes off before you jump on a trampoline.

    ~

Best way to tune a banjo?

    Wire cutters.

    ~

The best sound a banjo ever makes is when it lands on top of an accordion in the dumpster.

    ~

What's the difference between a banjo and a homeless person?

Most folks would pull a homeless person out of a dumpster.

    ~

What do drummers and banjo players have in common?

They both like to hang out with musicians.

    ~

Finally, Mark Twain's definition of a gentleman:

Someone who can play the banjo, but doesn't.
