What was it that let me get scheduled? The fact that I'll be 65 in 3 weeks? No. The fact that I have 2 co-morbidities? No. It was the fact I work for the state's second largest employer.

    Follow the money folks.

Sorry, Tom, but that is precisely the reason, as per the state's approved and published schedule priorities.

Tom, I hope you scheduled both vaccinations at once. I'm on Kaiser-Permanente and scheduled both vaccinations at once. My second vaccination was on Saturday, so I'm done for now.

I'm 74, with literally 5 qualifying conditions. Already had my first shot. In my state anyway, the plan has seemed reasonable and has been well implemented.

In today's disgusting political climate, it's easy to be drawn into casting anger and suspicion. I'm trying to cut back on that stuff, with moderate success thus far, I'll admit.

This has been true now for 40+ years and political affiliation has nothing to do with it. It's all corrupt.

Stick me Frankie, give me the goo!

I had the Moderna series. The first shot: Sore arm for a day, With the second one I had chills/fever the day after but it only lasted about 3-4 hours and went away.

No regrets. I opted to get it as a school employee and being around students didn't want to chance getting it and bringing it home due to the fact that we moved my parents in with us (now in their 80's). In fact, they just had their second round and doing good so far...

I got a call yesterday from our general practitioners clinic that the wife's and my vaccinations are scheduled for next Thursday morning; it's going to be the 1 dose shot.

I got my first round today. It was surprisingly well organized and efficient. The line moved faster than I imagined possible and there were hundreds of folks there at my appointment time. I spent more time waiting in the "after shot" area than I did in the line to get the vaccine.

My second is scheduled for April 3rd.

Not going to lie, with Texas opening up 100% next Wednesday, I feel very fortunate to get the first round in me before Wednesday. Texas is about to embark on a risky experiment that might blow up in our face. Or.....it might be a major success. Either way, I'm happy to have gotten the vaccine.

Got my first shot-Moderna last Monday. No sore arm, so side effects. Second shot scheduled in 4 weeks.

I can't wait until I can get mine scheduled. I just badly want this thing in the rearview mirror.
I can image having to carry proof of vaccination with us for a while, too.

I'm 65.8 and I got my first shot last Saturday, second scheduled for Saturday 3/20. My fiance is really pissed because she got hers a month ago and her arm really really hurt, but I never felt a thing. Hahahaha.....

Had my first one yesterday. After about 6 hours I developed chills, fever, headache, body aches - flattened me.

7 hours after that it went and I feel fine this morning. Oxford/AstraZ YMMV...

I had the Oxford AZ a few weeks back, no side effects apart from a slightly sore arm.

Around a third of people in the UK have been vaccinated so far.

Nice! I got my second one on January 28th. Working for a police department, though not an officer, I am considered a first responder. My wife works for a hospital and got both of her's two weeks after each of mine.

My first one felt like a fastball full on in the shoulder. No joke just like the 90mph heater I took when I played. For two days too. The second one did the same byt only for the next day. It also gave me feverish chills and made me feel likecI had been beaten with a brick for about 14 hours. I also felt like someone was beating my head with a timpani mallet that entire time. I scheduled the day after off work and am glad I did.
My wife on the other hand, said it was just like getting the flu shot. Nothing more tgan a very slight achy shoulder.
    I GOT SCREWED!
    Lol
