You probably want to see some pics of the internals and the neck/neck pocket to get a good sense. Though not exact, the 76XXX serial puts it somewhere in the mid to late 90s if legit.

Yup looks like 90’s avri 62 with a pickguard swap, maybe pickups too?

Except the serial number starting with "V07" would indicate a 2007 model.

No, you can't read the serial numbers like that. There are some approximate ranges out there, but just approximations.

Now when the revised AV series came out in August 2012 they did start making the first 2 digits after the "V" be the year of manufacture, but not until then.

Yup, those earlier avri series serial numbers didn’t work like that. I said 90’s based off the orange neck tint. I could be wrong without pulling the neck off so yeah that’s why I went with 90’s.

    Hi all..,
Have more pics of the guitar. What do you think.. look right?

Neck pocket is murky. No pencil date on neck heel but there is a stamp.

A 1997 '62 AV. Overall, the guitar looks good.
Pickguard and middle pot (newer version, but date is covered with solder) have been swapped out, and I think the switch may have also been changed (also newer version I believe).

Aside from the hideous white pearloid replacement pickguard it looks to be a legit USA Fender 62 reissue in Fiesta red.

Yeah, the colour is awesome. Quite red in the day.. deep orange at night.
    Thanks for your expertise everyone.

Looks awesome. I like white pearloid pickguards, too.
