What Duncan pairing are those zebras?
Dude, that is a beautiful Studio!
Ok, I know it's not a Gibson, but I'm trying to convince a buddy to sell me his AXL Badwater 1216.
I've been reading up on them--it either has EMG designed AlNiCo lll humbuckers or Seymour Duncan Seth Lover PAFs. Set neck and yes a lot of copper-tuning machines, pickup covers, tele style knobs (I'm thinking of using steel wool to take the finish down a little, any recommendations?)
Kinda cool with that Epi amp.
Reminds me of a down south juke joint blues rig where money is a little short but the great music is endless.
It was nice out today. No, I don't plan to straighten the tuning knob.
That way you can call it custom
This is nothing to sneeze at either. Nice looking slab o' Gibby here
That's purty. What is it ? Besides a LP, that is
JB bridge and Jazz neck. They sound pretty darn good.
And here's my Tokai with my dad's '78 Artisan and his half stack.
Honeyburst Standard with a really nice top and a Bo Strap.
I do love a nice Les Paul....
Here's my 2016 Traditional T that I picked up in February. It's got a meaty neck, and some nice meaty tones to accompany!
I'm not overly familiar with humbucker pickups, but I do like the tone I get out of the Classic 57's in it.
Routed, back in the 70's..had cream Super Distortions in it, now 57 Classics.
Semi-related..you ever make it up to Hamtramck/Detroit, MI..name sounds familiar..I knew all those punks way
Preachin' to the choir, I have the same combo in my Fernandes Ravelle! Love the tones, and am gonna miss it.
Iggy's old stompin' grounds! Have never been further north (in the Midwest) than central Illinois (where I still have a lot of relatives), lived in Florida since the early '70's.
I post, or did, on a bunch of guitar forums, so maybe you've seen me on one of those.
It's been about.
That looks a whole lot like mine. And you're right, the 57 Classics are great pickups. Right now I'd say they're my favorites
'57 Classics are great, but... My Trad Pro has a Super '57 in the bridge that just adds a little more meat and keeps that sweet tone.
2014 Epiphone Slash signature "Rosso Corsa" Les Paul Standard.
