The black , it makes the red pop.
Thanks! That’s San Clemente Pier. Taken by a local photographer. We have amazing sunsets! It’s just a bit sad why they are so amazing!
Not the Parchment
MOT but maybe not that one. There are a lot of pickguards to choose from that aren't too expensive. Even black with a white trim line 3 layer would look better than plain.
https://www.amazon.com/telecaster-pickguard/s?k=telecaster+pickguard&tag=strattalk05-20 lots of choices there.
Maybe that's a bit too much but I think it might look better than a plain black.
Well there is a broad support for each option!
I happened to have the single ply black guard, but if I was to go that route I think a 3 ply would be better. I had a thought about making a Carbon Fiber one, but decided I work with the stuff all day, last thing I need is more on my guitar!
I think I might buy a couple more, white certainly, 3 ply black, play the guitar more and maybe a decision will come to me.
Black or MOT
The black looks really cool but the parchment would be my choice. It looks more traditional somehow.
Black. The white does nothing for the look of the guitar.
Never liked the girl pickguards. Black is OK, white too, but for this guitar I'd get a single ply white.
I like the black.
Black on a light body color, parchment on dark.
try mint green
