    He was one of a kind, then they broke the mold.

    I saw him in concert a few times and each time left shaking my head in disbelief on what a great musician he was.

    Not to diminish the great loss of BB King with gearhead tangents, but I was under the impression that there were actually many Lucille's and he wasn't attached to any particular one.

    Yes, there have been many Lucille guitars but only one B.B. King. We are so fortunate to have all the recordings he made. And those of us who were fortunate enough to witness his great talent and love for all his fans will long miss the King of the Blues.
