While awaiting the arrival of mine; meanwhile, Magnatone owners come on share yours!
I wish I could! I'd to have a Twilighter Stereo in my arsenal!
The stereo Twilighter is an awesome amp. I considered buying one, but the weight and price steered me toward the mono.
I hadn't posted a photo here yet.
Better pic ( I think ).
The demos in your other thread are out of this world.
That is one amazing sounding amp, with the best built in effects. Congrats.
Thanks guys. I have been saving and doubting a long time to buy this amp. But haven't regretted it, all doubt is gone.
PS for the ones who haven't heard the sound files yet.

C'mon guys, I can't be the only one having a Magnatone, I'm not that exclusive.
These things look amazing. Tell me about the circuits in them.
I'm not all that amp technical, so I'll refer you to the official Magnatone spec sheet.
Vibrato vs Tremolo
We call our vibrato arms "tremolo", and in mandolin world a tremolo is rapid picking....but in amp terms it is a fluctuation in volume.
Very cool and unique amps. I've not played through a re-issue.
I had a late 50's Magnatone 260. I wish I could have hung on to it but needed the cash.
I sold it about 12 yrs ago without speakers for $450. That's was just before Magnatone amp inflation hit.
It was a unique sounding amp, the tremolo was really special sounding.
On 10, it was a great sounding overdrive. I never saw myself using on 10 and it wasn't versatile (duh) so it became disposable.
Before you think I gave it away for a song...wait for it.....
I paid $1 for it and a Farfisa organ in the mid 90's (pre-internet!)
It was left over at a church auction, no-one wanted it.
I used it as a 2x12 cabinet before eventually having it re-tubed.
So, I made some $$ on it, but really, wish I could have kept it. House, kids, wife, come before toys.
I sold it to a guy in the Magnatone forum on Yahoo. Those guys are serious about amps.
I found this picture, I have a lot more. It was black tolex w/ a silver grill. Sort of like a Fender. Those are Carvin Magnalab speakers from a 4x12 of mine.
Wow! just heard this guy for the first time.
Excuse me... I'm going to my music room and stare at this for awhile.
In case you need a change of view.
