    Dear Strat-Lovers,

did you ever saw a Teambuild Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster with a hangtag entirely signed by a Masterbuilder? Well here it is: signed with the initials and matching handwriting by Dennis Galuszka a Fender 17’ NAMN limited 56’ roasted relic acquired new last year at a known dealer in the Netherlands. I already saw another guitar of this same model with the usual hangtag signed by different people.

Fender Consumer Relations says that hence it’s a NAMM piece it’s likely that Dennis signed the hangtag at various stages. From what I know it’s not a NAMM Showcase Model, just an order of the 2017 limited edition which took close to 2years for delivery, since the CS is quite busy.

Do you got similar hangtags on your CS’s?

I will report back what I hear from Fender soon :)
Greetings from Germany and sorry for my bad english

They'd better never hire someone with the same initials...

Well mine was a team build, and apparently wasn’t inspected by a master builder

I suppose that’s better than buying a masterbuilt guitar with a team built tag on it!

Like default corporate email addresses that use first initial-last name, they would likely be directed to add a middle initial, and this is still a Custom Shop sample, so those would not be the initials of someone from the regular factory production line.

But in this case, I don't see it being outside of the realm of probability.
The Masterbuilders only do a few builds every year, and they need to have something to do while paint is curing between coats and buffing.
It would not surprise me at all that the Masterbuilders work on and sign off on "team built" CS examples.

Great & interesting replies! I’ve analyzed Galuszkas signature, and his roundish ‘D’ makes it quite convincing.

Anybody with an Galuszka Masterbuild guitar hangtag to compare?

My theory was that the Masterbuilders moved last year to a new / refurbished part of the building and maybe they got some time to do over things. Here a video of their new boxes they work at :
