My wife raves about Smashburger, which she had access to when working up in Anchorage, AK. I recently learned there are 4 locations in Orlando area, about an hour drive for us. Glad you mentioned it...I don't think she knows about them, so I'm going to take her to one this weekend. And I can make stops at GC and Sam Ash on the way as part of the "deal".

I have seen Fatburger on TV - maybe it was Undercover Boss? I'm amazed that a name like that is still viable commercially in 2018 with all the focus on health & obesity. I don't think that brand name would survive in the UK, they would either have to change it or die.

Please. We have a restaurant chain called Hooters. Need I say more?
(apparently I do, sorry:p)... but the Vietnamese place called Pho King Good had to change its name. Ah, America...

I know, Hooters was on Undercover Boss too. I watched it with increasing incredulity, waiting for someone to reveal that the programme was actually a wind up & that no such place existed. It was deeply sad, like stepping back into Britain in the early 1970s. I was waiting for Benny Hill to appear from the kitchen to start chasing the semi-naked women around the place to the tune of Yakety Sax.

The programme was a depressing experience.

In contrast, I think that Pho King Good is a Pho King great name!

My mistake...not FATburger, THICKburger. One of the Hardee's menu items:

    My mistake.....not a FATburger, but rather a THICKburger at Hardee's vs. Hardy's.

Except for the one in Nottingham of course, but of course, that's up north of the gap and off your radar...

I'm shocked that the brand exists at all in the UK. Amazed actually.

Well I suppose it is still 1974 in Nottingham....
