    Contenders are:

    Wampler Plexi Drive mini
    Aura amps Brown Sugar
    Used Marshal Guv nor
    Used Marshall Guvnor 2
    One Control Dyna Red 4k
    Possibly a Wampler Pinnacle

Im trying to max out at 200 USD or less.

Feel free to add your favorites. A good demo link would be helpful.

While looking at Pinnacle demos. MXR custom bad ass distortion came up as comparable. Any thoughts on it?

    Thanks.

I think Ive tortured this subject before so, sorry bout that.

I always liked the JHS Charlie Brown and the Angry Charlie depending on which taste I was looking for. The Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret is a really nice one too.

I got one of these last year but only had limited time with it.
I like the Super Bass setting with the presence up.
I like it so far but really need more time with it.

Just got one of these last week and been enjoying it since.
I keep going back and forth between Snarl and no Snarl.
Again need more time with it but like it so far

probably my least favorite of these 3

If you like the MXR Cusom Badass...you will love a MXR Dookie....if you love a Dookie.....you will simply adore a BearFoot Martial Artist (especially if considering One Control).......

But from options would go Sampler.

I have a Marshall Drive Master pedal. It's pretty much a Guv'nor minus some sort of fx loop I think. Its sounds great, supposed to be a JCM800 in a box and it's got Marshall written on it so I guess it fits the bill :D

How about PedalPal FX? My Pal800 JCM Emulator pedal nails Judas Priest British Steel. It's a replica circuit, as authentic as they come. Best of luck.

I'll put in another vote for the Catalinbread DLS. Although I've never tried the Wampler Plexi, that seems like a good choice. I also like the Keeley 1962x, although this is derived from the Bluesbreaker pedal, and maybe not what you're after.

I have one, it nails the cranked Marshall tone with 'buckers.

Yeah, a buddy of mine had one a long time ago and it could turn his Blues Jr. into 1978. Don't know why it took me so long to get one.

On the cheap, the NUX Plexi Crunch is my favorite.

Despite looking cheesy and being a signature pedal the mxr dookie drive recreates two of Billie Joe Armstrong's Marshall Super Lead amps used on Green Days earlier stuff. Even if you're not a Green Day guy, it gets it right.
