Crazy that life brought me in front of this today.....just nuts to even begin to think tackling this is any meaningful way. But somehow...the Bee Gees got me over to MJ. Makes sense, naturally they had a connection.

My God man, what was I thinking? I can't sing Michael Jackson? No freakin way!!!! Spent my lifetime loving this guy and his music, but never dared to sing it. So I did, today. Just the first verse, and my version was really slow. Please don't hurt me for doing this!! Very odd day in my life.

You're a brave man to share your music with others 👍 braver than I. Great Job!

Off-topic :

I learned the intro riff to 'Life in the Fast Lane' by The Eagles today. My mom's favorite band is The Eagles. So I figured I might ought to try and learn some Eagles stuff to play for her and not just Allman Brothers stuff for me and my dad.

It surprisingly only took a moment to learn what to play. Now I just have to learn to play it decently enough. Then learn some more of the song and work on getting the tone close. I've got to keep in mind that what I hear on the song isn't what was heard "in the room" so I likely won't be able to match what I hear since it was likely recorded through a mic, has post-processing, etc...

How does one deal with that? Just give it your best shot and what you get is what you get?

Always give it your best shot. And thank you BTW. I pretend I am on American Idol even when I am recording for myself....because it is going out to the public. I give it my heart...all of it.
