I've been riding for about 30 years.

I have a major annual rally near where I live, and it is about the only time during riding season that I don't ride. Took my Norton to Daytona once, but have no desire to return. The races are typically fun though. I'n just not a fan of biker rallies even in good times.

I've ridden a few Harley's, and thought about one for cross country riding, but my bikes do that just fine.

Well, that sucks. I agree that there is no excuse for that, which I think I already alluded to.

i had a sporty also for awhile.
it was a fun bike, but i hated the unscheduled lane changes every time a semi went past going the opposite direction. it was just too light.

Those Tankchairs go pretty fast, and they keep people at a comfortable social distance.

They are electric, so certain people will hate that they are saving the earth and climbing stairs.

I've ridden since I was a kid. Sold this one about two years ago. Can't stand the anxiety inducing idiots on the road any longer. I had a few crashes through the years. They say there are two types of motorcycle riders: those that have crashed, and those that will crash. Being a member of the former does not preclude you from being a member of the latter.

    That's a beautiful Softail!

During my 40+ years of riding I was lucky enough to remain in the "will crash" category. Knowing it was bound to happen eventually I quit before it had a chance to happen.

same here. well, no wrecks on street bikes anyway. i started riding at about 5 or 6 years old on a little yamaha 80.
had plenty of wrecks on dirt bikes, all of which i was able to get up and walk away from. once i broke a hodaka road toad in half jumping off a cliff, lol.

I’ve been riding this bike since January 1986. It’s my touring bike. I’ve taken it on 5 and 10 day trips covering thousands of miles. It’s a little tough compared to a touring bike but I get by.

This is me riding it in 1986:

I’ve been riding since I built my first trail bike from a box of parts when I was 13 years old. It looked just like this but maybe a bit beat up and not as shiny and new looking. It’s a Gemini SST 80.
